Independent bottler Lost Lantern, based in Vermont, has been killing it since they launched in 2020. @amsco15, they might have something you would enjoy:
Me too. Delicious.
It is sad that a nice supermarket near our area was closed (Dreager in San Mateo). I went to the place at their 50% sale on the last week hoping to buy a nice bottle of XO. There was a nice Hennessy Paradis was in display too.
No luck because all good wines and spirits were gone at 35% , but I was able to grab this one that I have never had before:
I got it at 50% discount. It is still not cheap, but it was the last bottle.
I didn’t know where to put this, but a visit to my local Starbucks revealed the inner workings of an espresso machine waiting for repair.
I thought Vince would walk in any second in full surgeon gear and perform the act with unfettered precision. He has been a bit quiet on the Forum as of late. Thought he may have found his dream gig.
I’m very sensitive to caffiene and, *generally, avoid drinks with sugar, but sometimes I need a boost and the taste of this is remarkable.
*generally is not legally binding
My favourite drinks are a cup of Illy ristretto and and a glass of wonderful, smokey Laphroaig whisky
Discovered this bourbon series from one of the oldest distilleries in Kentucky. Very tasty indeed!
The 1920 makes one hell of an old fashioned.
Our family drink for generations. Old Forester Manhattans. My grandmother had one every evening till she died at 88, and my dad as well. My wife hates the way my breath smells after drinking bourbon, so that’s the end of that.
You must be close to your wife.
I love my manhattans! Just made one now after laboring with the outside landscaping. Cheers!
Go ahead, rub it in! I’m a big fan of Cocchi Vermouth di Torino along with the Old Forester. And a Luxardo cherry.
