That’s not rabbit proofing, it is a form of electro-magnetic radiation shielding that works with his tin-foil hat to make every speaker cable sound like it is the best, every!

Is that what they are? I’ve always wondered. This is the USA, and we were founded on a strict seperation between church and audio!
I think my next upgrade might be a divorce. 
I just got read the rules of engagement which seem to unconditionally mean I am downsizing my collection of recordings, books and instruments and it’s gotten more intense of an edict this time around.
Time for me to start downsizing again and placate the household goddess as best as I can. Sigh. I love her. I also need to be me. A common dilemma I’m sure. Time to find those shoes that allow me to walk on eggshells, they’re around here somewhere.

I just dropped a pair of Amperex 7316’s into our BHK Pre. They replaced a pair of 7308’s.
First impressions - After an hour or so of the Roon streaming some Matthew Halsall and Fink, I spun up Young’s Live at Massey Hall LP. Even with so little time the soundstage has really opened up. It’s the best I’ve heard out of my rig.

Had P20 for almost three years, didn’t bother to move Furutech wall outlet to 20 Amp line till a month ago. Had been using PS audio outlet + Venon HC power cord for P20. A month ago moved the Furutech outlet to power P20. Listening to various LPs, CDs / SACDs and the sound quality is noticeably better in many ways. Now the system produces more clarity, better layers, more refinement and fluidity, a bit more sitting closer to the music with less veil, it is very dynamic but not harsh across the spectrum. The sound stage is better defined especially behind left and right speakers. Initially I thought P20 is regenerator and thus the power outlet / power cord may have less impact to sound quality. Turned out that may not be the case. It makes me wonder, what will happen if the power cord is upgraded from Venon HC.
Emailed old contact where we bought Audience cables from and he offered Audience Au24 SX 10 AWG with C19 connector at very good price (Piggy-back to large order he is placing). It will take two weeks to produce and ship directly from manufacturer. Have been very happy with Audience SE / SX in our system for past 4 years and look forward to this and perhaps the last piece of the puzzle.
