Absolutely love it! What speakers are those? Enjoy Luca!

Wow luca congratulations…must be amazing…your hard will pay you great
musical dividends…

Remember: first get the overall feel for the room’s sonic signature before moving on
to the next “upgrade” in order that it will be easier to determine if the “upgrade” is
improving or deteriorating the sound…

Best wishes

Do the LPs and CDs help to reduce the bouncing sound more?

Next upgrade? What? You can be sure I’m too tired at the moment even thinking about upgrades!

Anyhow don’t worry, I need a few days before ending the job.

Thanks.

@luca.pelliccioli - If I squint I can see a pair of XA60.8’s.

I was thinking they could act as absorber but frankly I’m experiencing an increase in imaging, am I inventing a sort of “confused SQUADRATIC diffusion”?

They should provide diffusion.

I will stack a few red wine bottles in the empty dividers to

  1. hold LPs
  2. help diffusion
  3. Drink as needed.

To me the third is the most important function of course.

The third certainly implies also a better sound usually, isn’t it?

It may make a Zenith sounding like a Statement (if you consume enough).

It may make Al playing a Supertramp album with a big smile on his face (if good enough), too.

Looks and hope sounds fantastic. Congrats

I think you should experiment with semi-transparent dark cloth in front of some or all of the media. Or just get black velvet motorized curtains. Press a button, the view changes. As does the ambience.
There would be times with certain music the velvet drapes might be preferred. You know, Pink Floyd Animals type stuff. Dark.

If the curtains could be commanded to all move to the middle, and also split to each side… that would really be something.

Congratulations! The flow of design lines is so beautiful! Time to enjoy the music!

Just don’t go changing fuses or such until you have sound quality baseline of
your new room…avoid confounding what change did what to your overall sound.

I’m still working on speakers set up, don’t worry. Laser tape projecting and first general tuning are keeping me busy enough for a while.

I just added (back) the CAD Ground Control GC1 and I confess this little toy matter, you realize the difference only without it. This is for @vkennedy61.

I also made some recabling, managing in a better way PCs and speaker cables to keep them more distant from each others. Couldn’t be happier!

you may as well put your speakers on wheels, there is no way the setup will be final until you are done with the room.

If you did not have so many new gears and changes, I was going to ask you to compare P15 and P20. But it is pointless in your situation. Since all my gear does not even register more than 250W, there is no reason for me to upgrade to P20 unless there is a clear sonic advantage.
