DMP Firmware upgrade 3.06 released

Same here. I will say that the second reboot was performed while wearing white Gold Toe socks. Maybe that had something to do with it?

i am beginning to wonder if what phase the moon was in when the software was loaded has something to do with the outcome! Ha ha !

If I have problems, I put Copper insoles in my shoes ; )

I would like to mention that since I installed the force reload provided by JT in customer service, I have not had an issue switching between CD’s and SACD’s. Time will tell if this fix will last. I only hope when the next update comes along It doesn’t wake the Sleeping Dragon again!

Great news. I, too, have been thinking the same ! That the next upgrade will fix the current crop of quirks only to leave us with a new batch … Just going with the script !

Last night I played the Norah Jones “Come Away With Me” SACD and encountered a weird problem I’d never seen before.

The LCD screen correctly identified the artist, album and track number, but the track titles were “all over the place”, sometimes the one from the next track, sometimes two tracks down, sometimes three, etc. No rhyme or reason to the track name displayed. Not a “biggy” in my opinion, but I thought I’d report it.

As for the sound quality…it’s an awesome improvement! Thank you for that!

My DMP has done the same. It is not just your machine.

Yes I’m seeing that for both CD and SACD. I also frequently get no track detail while the disc is playing but it shows up if I replay the disc. Finally, if I sample too many tracks - after about the 4th track selection I lose sound again both CD and SACD. Pressing stop - which may take 5-6 tries (!!) - and opening and closing the tray brings the sound back. More for Matt and Barry to address.
