Dream($ no limit) speakers BUT must fit/live with them in your current house

M9s, their weight! At 1,000 lbs. each, adding in shipping crate weights, I wonder if helicopter man could even carry them?

Surprised there has been no love for the big Von Schweikert’s
I’ll cast a vote for the Ultra 11

Kharma speakers have always tickled my fancy - from afar. Have not had the pleasure of hearing them in person.

I think this is their current flagship:

I heard a similar one like this at every Munich show. They prepare the room very good and ship a whole room design (acoustical/optical) to the shows. They present a high end product as it should be done…and it also sounds good every time…in a way such big, dynamic speaker setups sound good, different than a typical good tube/horn setup sounds good

I’d be a little frightened that it could try to catch me…

Can that thing fit in your house? lol that thing is huge

I’m boring.

Klipschorns or really any of the Klipsch Heritage speakers

Or the Focal Kanta No 3s. Preferably in yellow.

I’m kinda with you there on the Cornwalls.

Otherwise maybe a set of Harbeth 40’s.

There’s just something about sitting barefoot on the floor with a Boston record and Cornwall-type speakers. But, hey, I’m not greedy, a pair of Heresys would be fine. Someday.

The Focals are all about style admittedly. Just gorgeous. I’m a sucker for that MCM look.

Wow Jazznut, those are really speakers I would have only dreamed off. They tick every box. If my budget weren’t limited they would be the ā€œlook no furtherā€ speakers.

My favorite material: wood, no veneer, no MDF, only wood.

Compact, and DSP semi active bass, fit in my small room close to the wall and eliminate most of the room modes.

I trust the Focal Kanta no. 3 will match the M700 really nice.

Forgive me, I’m not dreaming, I’m happy with what I have. I think our colleague joma 0711 thinks similarly.

I build them myself.
I dream of building a set of active LINE SOURCE …
now I have to see if I can get time

They won’t fit in my house.

Mine either, but I would squeeze them in somehow!

Will be dreaming on for a long time on the Coltrane’s…

I’ve owned Tidal Piano Ceras for ten years and they still amaze me every time I listen to them. If I were to upgrade, I’d buy the newest iteration of the Piano. Not likely to happen though because prices have risen steeply along with the quality increases in drivers and cabinet materials.
