Spatial X5’s - Bought new - Love them but moved to the basement for now.
Acoustic Zen Crescendo MK2 - Bought used from TMR - Very good in the sweet spot. Love the MTM design. Moved to the basement for now.
Wilson Sasha DAW - Bought used from a private party. Just connected to make sure they work but haven’t done any critical setup work or listening yet. They are currently in my system waiting for me to get time to listen.
T+A 1000-40 Carbon - Bought a new dealer demo pair. Haven’t connected them to see if they work yet. I have great hopes for these. They are waiting in the wings for the Sasha’s to move over.
Two SVS 3000 sealed subs. I may add two more in the future. These are very friendly subs and easy to integrate and adjust on the fly as needed.
Had a pair of Tekton Electrons. They were very good for the money. I disassembled that system and gave the speakers to my son. He uses them in a work system in the machine shop.
Had a pair of Dutch & Dutch 8C’s but I never could get the magic to come out of them as others said they could. Recently sold them.
I had a pair of those a long, long time ago. They were amazing for the money. I bought the factory wall/ceiling brackets and attached them to the rear parcel shelf of my Chevy Citation and used the speakers in the car stereo.
So I have a pair of Martin Logan odyssey’s and descent sub in a living room unhooked. A pair of Maggie 20.7 in my main listening room. Ok I like planars/esls. I have other paradigm mini monitors for a home theater - but I don’t count those or the alexa studio in my kitchen. Maybe I’m in denial of a problem.
We were looking at a house…. Nah - beautiful house but no room for the Maggie’s.
Between the two systems at both houses Verity Otello, Nola KO, Reynaud Abscisse Jubilee and Rosso Fiorentino Voltera 2. I obviously stay out of the “mainstream” as to speaker brands and all four pair have a similar voicing that appeals to me. Only others of significance and not in use are a pair of Odyssey Lorelei’s, Fritz Carrera Be, Harbeth C7ES and Spatial M3TM’s. Lost track of how many pairs of boxed up lower priced bookshelf speakers are stored in the attic and the “box room” at the Florida house. Most if not all will be given to the kids or friends when house consolidation time comes.
Oh boy… At least 30… mostly vintage.
It’s a sickness…
Hey, some people collect axes, typewriters or cards with random sports dudes on them. We don’t judge…

Without going around the various closets and the attic I lost count in my head at 21 plus the Rosso’s I bought three weeks ago. My oldest son has three pair that I didn’t count as he’s had them for over a decade. My “vintage” stops at the Minimus 7 and the ADS L570/II.

Hello. My name is kzk and yes I have an audio problem ; )
Best guess if wife was quizzed she’d answer four, which is just as well if you know what I mean, otherwise housecleaning might need to occur. When many look similar you can swap out and around and nobody the wiser ; ) The only problem is my preteen daughter will often notice, and she sometimes blows my cover, haha. But it’s all good. (Proud dad moment yesterday when she noted the superior sound quality of her Klipsch wireless buds to the junk wired buds that come with iPhone - there’s hope for the new generation!)
Wishlist upgrade would be (target eventually) Wilson Sasha DAW, definitely next level to anything I have, but for me nothing under $20k that I’ve listened to, and I’ve tried/continually try to listen to most, better suits my sonic tastes. The quest never stops to find and stay current with the best available sound from all the top contenders
I have 6 pairs. From most to less used, here they are:
Magnepan 1.7i
Merlin VSM-SE
Magnepan MG20QR
Pioneer SP-FS52
Emotiva Airmotiv B1+
Sequerra Pyramid Metronome Model 7
Main system - 1975 Kefkit 3 boards in Bailey damped transmission line enclosures, now upgraded with Radford crossovers. At the time this was the dream home built speaker for an impecunious enthusiast in the UK, and I haven’t encountered anything I like better. +12" sub.
Honourable mention for the Iloud Micro Monitors I use as computer speakers, and in my wife’s small house in the South of France. Not audiophile quality but astonishingly good for such a tiny active speaker
I have two just because I had a good chance and took it as a kind of backup in case a module or driver should get a problem. They are fully active, non market released speakers. Their cabinet is several inches bigger in each direction (especially depth), but looks quite exactly like this one of a legacy Avalon:
