I settled with this after 5 switches and this has always sounded better. But I have not switched again for a few days, and a picture is better than words:
The Purple in PST has the same direction as the Master, and it sounds smoother. I had it in the different direction becasue it sounded better with DS, but with MK2 I like this direction better.

In an earlier post I wrote that perhaps the factory sticker label on the fuse might not be consistent
across the production line…hopefully I was mistaken…

It surely sounded much better than the first week, and it is the best sounding fuse in my system for sure. It may have improved even more, but I was testing a Gustard fuse for the last few days so the improvement has been masked for the past week.
I checked with the Cable Co. and asked for a final price. NO Discount! It must be selling like a hot cake. I will wait until it is cooling down a bit, and maybe I will cool down for thinking getting another one.
I started Purple with the R side from the writing on side into cap…sounded better immediately…I will try a switch in a few days
When I checked with The Cable co..web page the SR Master had map pricing not elgible
for frequent flyer discounts. Upon ordering the SR Master I spoke with Steven who confirmed
the same…no way around it for now…
It seems it may have been the same for the Purple fuse when it came out, so hopefully one day
soon will be given the frequent flyer miles as well.
Happy to hear the new SR Master is working out well for you…pretty sure that the Gustard
may be veiling the SR Master’s qualities and benefits…
