New SR Master fuse review vs AM M1 and Purple to follow

So it appears the towers made a positive impression, enough
to grab your attention and buy

If good in one scenario, something is amiss in this scenario…
Perhaps a defective unit…

Why not contact SR and inquire with them ?..

You might have missed something while setting it up.

The instruction manual for Tower must read insert 600 dollar SR Master fuse in the device or power conditioning chain providing USB 5V power.

Naw that’s not it…it requires your bag of tricks n mods to make it work…

Funny though Al’s first hearing got his attention…to only later find it didn’t
work for him…

He needs your expertise vmax…

Good for you, Al. Frankly it’s refreshing to get a report like this for something, rather than the continual “just made a load in my pants, it’s so good!” hyperbolic enthusiasm for so many of these relatively minor things. :slightly_smiling_face:

A bargain at a quarter of the price. You should be skeptical about that.
Either it’s broken or her system is too dominant. A $600 SR Master makes a significant difference.
What is the tower doing? Atmosphere, music with the right smell and audience effect. :joy:

I’m currently researching the next tweak. Ground box for HF suppression. Tourmaline, shungite, etc. are used there.
I think similar to the EMI film described by Vmaxx.
Magic Audio’s black powder will also be tourmaline flour and will be used in your fuses. The graphs of SR and QSA will probably also work on this basis.
I had also seen another fuse online for about $30 that was coated the same as the AM masterpiece. Unfortunately I don’t remember. Could have been refine. The tourmaline color is probably also used by the military to keep planes from jamming.
Greetings Andrew

The good RF and EMI absorbers i have seen manufactured are a mixture of 15 to 20 compounds. Usually not one magic ingredient.

Hey Luca, just being curious to learn if you had a fruitful contact with the dealer?

Btw, I’ve returned the outcoming fuses last Tuesday and received the cashback on my bank account this morning as well as an accompanying email wishing me continued listening joy from my purchase.

Hi Job,

thank you for your email.

He answered my email yesterday and he offered me a trade in, we probably close our deal shortly. Great opportunity if anyone has unused fuses.

Indeed! And a smart traders move as it is to mutual advantage. I like it.

Good luck in closing a deal and please keep us informed!

Ironically someone already posted this video on a different thread! Thanks for bringing us back on track!

Hello, is there anything new about the SR Master? New users or insights ? The slight accents on the S sounds that I mentioned at around 100 hours have gone down. Although I have to admit that I didn’t manage to listen to hundreds of hours of music without one or the other tuning part. Greetings Andrew

Thanks for asking.

Nothing new to report…still performing well…

Funny thing though, I was running the AM Master 1 in my JC5
power amp and swapped the SR Purple in.

While the AM Master 1 has more body with good highs, the SR Purple
has more bone along with dynamics and better presence…again just my
.0002 fwiw opine…

Wish I could get the best of each one rolled into 1.

It really comes down to how do you prefer your music…

I ordered a M-1 instead, it just doesn’t make sense to order a Master fuse that costs over 40% of the SW-10 switch.

However, my new Lumin U2 can use a good fuse too. But even that I’m not sure I will spend $600 for a fuse (last I check there’s still no discount on Master).
