Stack Audio AUVA Isolators

Interesting to hear! So what was the difference compared to the IsoAcoustics then? Might depend on what component it is own but would love to hear any feedback / experience.

All I remembered is that Orea smeared the SQ a bit in comparison. The real star in my system is their speaker feet; either AUVA 70 or 100 will sound much better than Isoacoustics and many others.

The difference is most obvious with piccolos in the mid C range. Banjos sound friskier as well. Otherwise they sound the same.

@Jdee My impressions of the AUVAs v the IsoAcoustics may be found in the first post of this thread…

Based on general comments here as well as the many positive reviews on YT etc. I decided to order the Stack Audio Serene Stabiliser and the corresponding record mat. I’ll give you my impression when I get them. Anybody here specifically use either of these two products?

What’s your turntable?

Technics SL-1200G. I’ve owned several and this is the best sounding in the $4k-$5k I’ve enjoyed.

I just put the serene stabilizer on today. Theo Stack didn’t feel the mat would benefit the RP10. I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve heard it for a day or two. I’m assuming no burn in.

I wonder if the mat will be of any benefit for my setup. I guess I’ll find out.

Thanks for the post, I look forward to hearing your impressions.

The mat and stabilizer are supposed to compliment each other. I can’t remember why Theo said the mat didn’t benefit the Rega turntables.
