Swiss Digital Fuse Box, the fuse reinvented

Never in over 40 years of HiFi system configuring have I made such a HUGE leap forward in sound quality by installing the SDFB with Graphene sluggo!

Recently I had run 10 guage dedicated lines with shunyata outlets, added a PS Audio PerfectWave p10 Regenerator and noticed a nice improvement in the sound quality- but when I just installed the Swiss Design Fuse Box and graphene sluggo into the Vincent SV237 MK2 hybrid integrated amp- INCREDIBLE improvement. Much lower noise floor, greatly increased details, pace, energy, tone,3d notes
The entire experience went from enjoyable to enrapturing! The unit has only a few hours on it and the difference is dramatic and SO MUCH FUN!!! Hands down, this is the single greatest upgrade (for a reasonable price to boot!) that I have ever made. no hyperbole. I am blown away. This could transform the HiFi industry. I had no idea my gear could make reproduce music so real. GooseBumps!

It made such a diffference I ordered a second SDFB for the P10 regenerator.

LOVE the work Mark and Peter and Company are doing. Great service, great people, amazing upgrade. I will post more as the unit breaks in but I can hardly believe it can get any better.

System: ELAC UniFI Reference UBR62s and ELAC 3010 sub, Vincent Audio SV237MK2 Hybrid integrated amp, Vincent PHO-701 phono preamp, Bob’s Devices Sky20 SUT, Hana ML cartridge, Well Tempered Amadeus G.T.A. turntable with DPS, Cambridge Audio Azur 840 CD Player, PS Audio PerfectWave P10 Power Plant, Pangea Interconnects and Power cords
and now Swiss Design Fuse Boxes with graphene sluggos for amp and P10!

Pure joy!

So glad that you found this made such a big improvement! I think a further improvement will be had with the second SDFB on the regenerator, and the first will improve a bit–I found there was more of an “ease” to the sound after a week. The fullness this device and the Graphene Sluggo bring is addictive! My stereo has never sounded better now with three SDFB installed and three Graphene Sluggos.

Keep us posted!

stay tuned :0

There is something special going on. I could understand greater power but there is so much more happening when a traditional fuse is out of the path. The fuses were clearly limiting subtleties in the sound signal. I have three SDFBs, one for my P20 and two for the BHK300s, and it’s been a component level upgrade!!

Forgot to mention- I also bought a couple of ‘Mainstreams’. Hmmm, they work!! Sound is sweeter with them on.

They’re offering a $100 off any of their products. Use code

I had such a great success upgrading a SR Purple fuse to a SR Master in the Holo Audio Red (very noticeable improvement) that I think about going for the Swiss FuseBox. Has anyone already experience using it with a Holo Red?

Just went down the rabbit hole and used the code to order one for my PSA-P15.

That’s where I started with my first one.

@Jdee
If you’ve already got an SR Master fuse in your Holo Red, I’d recommend buying the SDFB with graphene sluggo for your amplifier (and power supply if you have one). Given both Master fuse and SDFB sluggo use graphene, I don’t know if you’d get the same jump in SQ with that transition for the Holo Red.

I got a Devialet 440 dual mono integrated amplifier. Running on an Audioquest Niagara 5000. The SDFB indeed looks very interesting - though some more cables needed.

Hi Donald - I see you have much experience with SDFB and Sluggos. I am thinking of trying this on my Preamp instead of SR Fuse. Do you agree and what is your favorite sounding sluggo? Thanks
Andy

I have used one SDFB on PSA P15, and it has made a significant improvement. I have not tried another FB in a different gear mainly because I did not like the SQ from the pigtail that came with it. I ended up spending more on modifying the pigtail cable than FB itself . However, they have different levels of pigtails that you can order now, and pigtail makes quite a difference in my system.

I believe FB will improve amps, generators, AC conditioners more because they use more power. Some preamps use enough power that FB may benefit more than fuse too. I briefly tried a sluggo in Grimm MU2, and I actually preferred the sound with M-2 fuse more. MU2 uses 1A fuse could be the reason.

Others here have more experience than me in SDFB, and many like more FBs in their systems.

I have used pure copper, super sluggo, and some from AliExpress such as pure silver solid, silver/Rhodium solid, silver hollow, and silver/rhodium hollow. They all produce different sounds. I like PC and S/R Solid in my system better than others.

I heard Graphene sluggo is the one to beat now, and I have not tried it myself because I will be using a PowerZone that does not require a fuse soon.

Wait, and what will you do now?

Luca, if you want to try a FB, I will have a spare one soon.

That’s much appreciated - I am ordering FB with Graphene sluggo today. Thank you as always for the the info

I think you’ll really enjoy them. I have a SDFB on my P15, my DSD Mk II and on my Decware SEWE300B, all with the Graphene Sluggos (tried four different other Sluggos, Graphene is the king). (I don’t use a preamp any longer as my amp is integrated.)

I appreciate you telling me about your experience - I have 1 on the way with Graphene - Are you using their standard Piggy or using other cables? Thanks! Andy

Andy, I’m using the same cable before and after the SDFB on all three, I have not tried their Pigtails.

My whole system is powered by PS Audio AC-12 power cables.

Ah gotcha - thanks!
