I myself managed to stop at three!
I have my second one on the way haha! Really like how first one is sounding after 1 week.
As mentioned, I have three but am tempted to get another two, for my DSD Mk3 and BHK Pre. My next priority is, however, a Muon Pro, and after that, Iâm interested in a Furutech NCF filter for my P20.
Looks like the âPatience Rewardedâ discount code is no longer valid for the Swiss Digital Fuse Box.
That last post lit the fire under my butt! I already have 6 SDFBâs with G-slugs, and love them! But I have been putting off the purchase of a Fuse box for my P-10 which powers all my HT equipment and one for my P-20 that powers all my 2 channel stuff. Just ordered them on Halloween, along with another Snubway. Big time improvements from Mark and his fabulous company. The customer service AND bang for the buck improvements just donât get any better, IMHO.
This is the only one I have in service - for the P10 that is. I was pleasantly surprised that its positive impact was immediately discernible as soon as I added it to my system.
I bought a second SDFB specified for my PSA DS Sr. DAC, but have not taken the time to take the DAC out of the system and open it up so I can install the sluggo.
Which kit did you use a SDFB with first and what was your impression of its impact?
Cheers.
The first 2 SDFBâs were installed on my AGD Audion mono-blocsâŠwith copper slugs. Immediate improvement, music just sounded more ârightâ, live, tighter bass, etc. Added 1 to my Uptone Audio JS-2 power supply that powers my Legacy Audio Wavelet, AND my modded Directstream dac V1. 1 originally on my phono stageâŠwhich subsequently was upgraded to a phono stage that does not have a fuse, so I moved that SDFB to my PS Audio transport. 1 on each Legacy Audio Aeris speakers. I most recently upgraded to G-SlugsâŠAnother major improvement in my system!
So, Iâm looking forward to the additional Fuse boxes and G-slugs on my P-20 and P-10.
Thank you for the details.
I have The Audionâs in my office system.
The room is terrible so I donât think Iâll make the investment is SDFBs for those amps in the current set up. But Iâll keep them in mind for the future.
Regards.
PS
Great speakers by the way.

The graphene Sluggo is truly amazing!!!
I put Graphene sluggos in my preamp - also in both LPS for Roon server and Matrix Audio USB/SPDIF - also 1 in SW-10 switch. They are great everywhere I have tried them. - More detail and Transients are better. Sound overall more lively and great musical energy - fun to listen to!
Think three is my limit also (he said
).
P20
BHK amp
Just added Rose 150b. â all grapheneâd.
Resolution, dynamics, ease <chefâs kiss>
Hi there - I wanted to report that I tried FBâs with Graphenes in my powered speakers - 2 days in - the difference/improvement is Profound. Everything sounds snappier and transients are proper and seem limitless - yet even more smooth and detailed. Music is more engaging - mid band is just better and even. Lower end is tighter. High end sparkles more. Significant improvement in overall detail and harmonics of all instruments and vocals! Amazing improvement in all aspects of Sound Quality. I did the 3 front mains LCR. I will do the remaining 12 also - no brainer.
Hi all just found this thread after deciding to purchase the SDFB. Looks like it might ship today so deciding how best to use it in my system.
Originally was going use it my Ares II dac and move the purple fuse to the preamp, but after reading thru most of the comments seems most are using it with a there amps. Since I just bought a purple fuse for amp was wondering if the SDFB would be worth worth using with Dac.
The other option is the pre amp using a modified MP-701 MK2 Tube Preamp? The preamp has 2 fuse so not sure if thatâs possible.
Also picked up a solid silver slug to try seemed a good deal.
I would use it with whatever fuse value the SDFB is set for and that alone. I have one for my regenerator, one for my DAC and one for my amp. If the fuse value matches up Iâd try it in the preamp if you donât want to try the amp and forgo the Purple fuse there. I find the SDFB better than Purple fuses and Audio Magic M-1 fuses. Love mine.
Silver slugs are good. I ended up with (expensive) Graphene Sluggos from Verafi. They are the best of five different types Iâve tried.
I have SDFBs for my P20 & BHK300 mono blocks.
@lonson - how much difference did the SDFB make to your DAC? Thanks
Hard to say as it was the third that I added, and it did make an improvement, I would say gut feeling wise that it was the third most significant after the regenerator and amp, but I havenât experimented with removing the others etc. to be more specific. If I had a preamp I would probably have put the SDFB there but I am now using essentially an integrated amplifier (Decware SEWE300B).
Agreed, this is critical. SWDFs are âprogrammedâ to match unique fuse specifications.
Thanks maybe should been more specific, both the dac and preamp use the same fuse value. Sadly the amp needs a fast blow.
Original ideal was dac for the SDFB and use the purple thatâs in Dac for the preamp.
