How do the casters change the sound? Do they make the speakers sound better?
My speakers weight over 300 lbs each so these will really help as long as they don’t degrade the sound.

Have you done a search on Google for Audiophile Speaker Casters?
I wonder if there would even be one.
I know Wilson Audio ships their speakers with casters on them. But the intention is to remove them ASAP. I have never once seen a manufacturer use Casters for anything other than temporary moving.
That isn’t to say one shouldn’t use them. Maybe just don’t mention to anyone if you do.
LOL, Pangea makes some. Too funny.
They don’t look as cool as cones/footers and my wife will not care if I break my back. No way she will let those furniture movers stay on speakers (or furniture for that matter).
I am start laughing myself to think of installing those. Well, maybe another 5 years….
The Pangea casters are for their racks.
I did a google search for audiophile speaker casters and the Pangea casters were the number one result. Whatever.
That confirmed no speaker design using casters.
I left the casters on my Wilson’s for too long. I’m a lazy audiophile. What can I say! However, once I removed the factory casters and installed the Gaia’s, I was nicely rewarded for my efforts. The midrange and soundstage filled in magically. Far more effective than with just the Wilson diodes installed. It was just amazing and immediately brought out a smile and a curse at my prior laziness.
Maybe someone will design a audiophile iso-casters for speakers. Most of us are old guys with big speakers anyway.
Ever see the casters on a Steinway Concert Grand at the Symphony. Those are duals and huge diameter. I bet they have it figured out. I,d wouldn’t trust less. Lol
That’ll take the all the fun and danger out of moving them that half a millimeter to obtain the perfect soundstage.
Those gold casters don’t look that bad, and match the Birdseye maple furnishing too; my wife will hate them for sure.
Happy Birthday Aiki14
The Cable Company has some pretty solid looking Casters available. Most interesting.

Maybe some brass casters with the kit/casters placed on some thick felt? Seems like that would ameliorate most of the perceived negative impact of using casters as the permanent “footer” on a pair of highly resolving speakers.
Just a thought…
Cheers.
I was thinking the same thing as I was catching up on this thread. Industrial felt is very robust.
Minor upgrade: Before we had P20, power was drawn from this Furutech outlet on the wall (15A breaker); I was lazy and when we had P20 I didn’t move this power outlet to the 20A circuit (P20 was powered by a PS Audio power outlet). Today I am on break and finally switched this power outlet from wall to 20A circuit, directly powering P20. The initial observation could be subjective (I need to listen more), I noticed similar change when I first had this into the system, overall it makes the presentation a bit more refined and less grain. Seems like P20 likes this outlet.
Other than Romex not in conduit and not to code and illegal as a extension cord outside the wall in most jurisdictions.
I bet it does sound better.
Well, at least it looks prettier than what I have on wall now. I might just get it as a decoration piece anyway.
@Vmax is right. Romex should be inside the wall. Is this Romex going straight into an electrical panel?
