New SR Master fuse review vs AM M1 and Purple to follow

Have you tried it yet?

It doesn’t have the correct size for MKII unfortunately, Will order one for my network switch and LPS for my router just to see.

It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on these. I bet they are the “copy” of some name brands that we often discussed here.

I doubt it, they do show what is inside, which is bucking the trend.

Gold soldering! That got to be good😁 just saw a red one for like $50. Maybe it’s pretty good. It’s surely a lot cheaper than a Master fuse from SR.

It looks well built. I may get one to try. Davida will give us a warning soon, it’s his thread! Bye!

Have used the Hi-Fi Tuning Supreme fuse warm detailed better than stock
99% pure silver melt wire and 1% gold alloy tip to tip caps to burn wire, with
specially developed ceramic casing with an additional anti resonance casing.

Made in Germany.

The sq is warm detailed haven’t used it in a long time…so I may run again
in my P15 jsut to compare…

Best wishes y’all

Okay so which one did you order? The Gustard or the SR Master or perhaps even
the Hi Fi Tuning Silver Supreme?

Best wishes

the Gustard 5A for my P15. If it’s anywhere close to stock or the purple, it’d be a huge win!

I carefully read the comments on the new Synergistic fuse. I have Audio Magic fuses on all my components except the amplifiers. They have purple SR fuses. The sound is full and dynamic but at times it is a little bit bright.
I’m wondering if the new SR fuses could replace the purple SR in the amplifiers which would erase the bright side.
I know Synergertic recommends using their new fuses in dacs and power generators but why exclude amplifiers ?
If anyone can test the new SR fuses on an amp it would be interesting to know its effect there.

Happy Birthday @luca.pelliccioli !!

Hey fred75

It does indeed seem that brightness creeps in…in my case it has to do with the
quality of recordings and can vary…

The intensity of brightness with the SR Purple fuses brightness was mitigated with
the extended burn in time and boy oh boy did the SR Purple need it…then they
settled down. The AM M1 shows far less brightness than the SR Purple, while
the SR Master seems to have a wider broader detailed soundsstage that appears
to mitigate brightness further…

As my SR Master fuse burns mmore we will find out how all this plays out…

Just hang in there …sadly these things take tie to run their course.

Best wishes

I’ll blame it on me not feeling well and recovering from surgery. My attention span is…

…what were we discussing…I forgot.

Congratulations! Happy to know you have made it to two years. I had my two-year anniversary not too long ago, it felt longer, and my wallet for sure is lighter.

But my system sounded much better than two years ago. Am I happy now? No, once you become addicted there is no end in sight.

Just ordered a Master Fuse from Alfred at Highend Electronics for my Nordost QB8 distribution block to replace a Purple.
