just like going from standard cd to a well done high res sacd.
Amazing though for sure.
When my Beeswax fuse blows, I will cut it open and see how much real beeswax is actually in there also. $240 a fuse really sounds like highway robbery!! At lease Beeswax fuses are not directional. The SR fuses seem to blows from one end. I donât know if that has anything to do with them being directional.

The black âboogerâ on the external cylindrical ceramic surface is the secret sauce. Maybe itâs fossilized Kryptonite? 
Full Oppomod rig here too, though no fuses for me, got a circuit breaker put into psu.

Itâs sounds crazy but itâs very noticeable on the audio end and I put 1917 4K Blu-ray on last night and the picture quality improvement with fully modded and oppo and the SR orange was incredible with the picture and sound quality. For those wondering my OPPO 203 mods came from oppomod.com

I have a beeswax in my PSA DSD and an Orange in my PSA P12. My power amp, McIntosh MC462, recently blew a fuse (for no good reason). McIntosh only wants their fuses in there, which is easy enough since I am being sent two for free. They chuckled (like most) at the thought of audiophile fuses. I saved my breath and didnât mention that I am rocking a couple.

I had nearly the identical experience with my BHK Preamp. I had also replaced the SR Black that had been in the preamp for several years with the Orange. It initially sounded good as in perceived added detail - but somewhat glassy and not as easy to listen to. After playing a burn-in disk for an hour or so along with playing some additional music, things became magical and musical. Stunning detail along with liquidity and expanded soundstage. At first I thought that it was my imagination as these things in this highly perceptual hobby can sometimes be, it was not. I feel that the upgrade was worth it.

I have three Orange fuses in P15, BHK Pre and DS. They first sounded great, but the clarity makes the system sound a bit âthinâ sometime. I wonder if I have too many of them. Last week I added a Beewax Ultimate fuse in the SACD transport and the entire system sounded fuller with better soundstage now.
One day I want to replace all stock fuses back just to know it is not my imagination.
