that’s why practice is needed
It’s still a current model thru MBL so I would say yes. @minnesotafats is the resident MBL expert he would know the answer.
I really did want it but I couldn’t make a top loader work in my rack.
I noticed that you have cake crumbs on your shirt. Happy cake day.
Happy Cake Day, Mark!
Thanks guys!
After the big Christmas dinner, I am on a strict diet.
I only had one slice of cake with coffee for lunch! Happy cake day!
I do want it. I want to replace the top and bottom covers with glass and just look at it.
Happy cake day!!
Happy cake day Mark
Happy cake day fellow Gryphonista!
I was only spinning CDS for Christmas…a new tradition for the 19 days of Christmas.
it is a modified Phillips CD Pro 2LF that is not available anymore on the market. MBL keeps an inventory for repairs and replacement to serve their clients. I know because I broke mine. $1200 later I had a new drive to replace the old after I sent the old drive in for exchange. MBLs service is outstanding.
Same mechanism at the CDT3 Mk3.
Jays modifies their drive units also to his own specs…
I am saving for a Bricasti M19 to match my M21 for a true DSD experience
Ugh–My guy was just informed that Luxman will be discontinuing/obsoleting the D-03X.
Back to square one: Jay’s…Teac…wait for PS Audio…
Hooray! You still have a chance to make the one and only correct choice!
Well Ron…you can make it a half square by eliminating top loaders…
Seems you will be purchasing a TEAC as top loaders won’t work with your current lay-out. I had a similar concern as the player was in a credenza, so a top loader was not a great choice. Things have changed and the ever reliable Jay’s have both been just fine. Hard to say if and when a next generation PSA transport will be available.
Of course you could arrange for a long term loan of a Gryphon Ethos.
