Purple fuse upgrade

That pretty much sums it up. I am going to stay the course and go back to just testing the Stealth. Once that’s done I’ll put the Purple back in. Probably in 2-3 weeks.

I was going to ask you how Stealth sounds in your system, but I do not think you remember how it sounds with all the other changes you have made.

I often had that problem too.

How did you get it for 135 each?
Cable company charges 199$ and we get 10% FF discount, which helps with tax.

buy 2, get 1 free deal. 3 fuses for $400

As I am listening to my system I realize that I am not hurting. The sound is quite spectacular as is.The purple we’re a nice improvement in sound quality.

M1 might be better than the purple, but I am very happy with the purples in BHK pre, DSD and PST.

Reads like a JaysAudioLab confession, ha!. :joy:

Yeah, I need to go back to a baseline so I can appreciate the changes the Stealth is making. I basically threw two weeks of testing out the window. Having the Pre tubes fade was unexpected as well.

Tomorrow - baseline returns!

Yes i am repurposing the Purple that use to reside in my P-20. Would it get better replacing everything with M-1 perhaps, but just one goes a long ways.

Closing in on 100 hours letting rhe AM Beeswax M-1 stream Roon Radio powering P-20. This fuse continues to deliver more. I will push it past 125 hours before sliding the now unused SR Purple to my cable router Zero Zone High Current R-Core LPS. So far it never liked any aftermarket fuse. I don’t want to get off the wave the M-1 is giving my system.

The M-1 makes everything sound like a first ever experience delivering the more realistic sound than any other audiophile fuse I have tried.

My finger is on the mouse waiting to buy it, but TCC is on a long weekend break too, I think.

I second that notion. I am listening to some DSD 256’s and I have never heard them with this level of fidelity as now. It’s got to be be the M-1 breaking in, because nothing else is changed.

I switched over to Home Theater. The Beeswax M-1 is just as amazing for HT use. M i watched the 3:10 to Yuma. The music, explosions, dialogue and western gunfire and shot s were simply amazing. Streaming from AppleTV4 with just WWPS7 HDMI cable. Not even a AQ Dragon HDMI present in my streamer. My McIntosh surround amplifier has factory attached power cord and factory fuses. The only power filtering is from the P-20. Believe me the L&R and rear surround channels all improved from the Beeswax M-1 delivery of system power coming from the P20.

My Surround speakers are XXL McIntosh Line arrays and also act as distributed LFE subwoofers. What distinct solid bass.

This fuse is a winner.

Well they ship express mail USPS mail from manufacturer in CA. It eill deliver in two days if in stock.

Great, it should be a quick shipment for me; assuming I can order one by tomorrow. It sounds like M-1 has secured his kingship already.

I am waiting for the Cable Company to give me a final price on the M-1. Glad I missed out on the Orange and Purple stages. Or I hope to be glad. I still have massive doubts about Audiophile fuses. What next, cables? Good grief.

Looks like @Vmax finally got to you. He is very convincing with his raves on the M-1. With a system like yours, you should hear it right away. Didn’t I see somewhere he give some other fuse for you to try before, or is it just my imagination.

Now I’m getting itchy to try the M-1 fuse. I have purple in my amp, preamp, PST, DS, Keces P3 power supply for DS and my Auralic G2.1 streamer. Where would the M-1 best first be used? I am not getting 6 M-1 fuses at once. I might try one or two to hear what they do over the purple. I’m thinking one for preamp and one for amp. Where would one or two M-1 fuses best be used to replace existing purple? The purple fuses sound good as is just the same.

He gave me a fuse before. I put it right into service. It will be replaced by the M-1.
